Nurturing yourself essentially refers to self care . It sets the stage for better health, relationship and general well being. It can be referred to as self compassion. Self compassion leads to lower levels of anxiety and depression. The first person who nurtures us is our mother beginning in the womb where we received nourishment through the umbilical cord.

Once we love our self, everything will flow to us naturally! As much as we love fulfilling our roles as mothers, daughters, and wives, it's important to remember that we are unique individuals with our own dreams and aspirations. We owe it to ourselves to live our lives and pursue our passions, to find happiness and fulfillment in all aspects of our existence.
